How it all started...
Friday, August 27th 2010- Jakelen is at work and begins to complain of slight nausea, headaches, and fatigue at work. A kind co-worker tells her she should go get a pregnancy test "just to make sure." 2 hours later Jakelen is in the bathroom at her work staring at a "positive +" on her pregnancy test. Then she starts freaking out! Does she go tell David at work? Should she wait until he gets home? What should she do?! After about an hour of deliberation she decides to take off work early and go tell David the happy news while he is at work.
So, Jakelen goes to David's work (freaks him out by saying there's an emergency) and tells him that she is pregnant. They laughed, they cried, they jumped up and down and were excited and scared all at the same time. Then, David had to go back to work and Jakelen headed home.
When Jakelen got home she decided to take another pregnancy test. To her surprise it was "Negative -"!!! How was this possible. After going to the doctor David and Jakelen got the news that they were indeed, not pregnant.
September 5th 2010- Happy 1 year Anniversary David and Jakelen!!!!
September 6th 2010- On the way home from their anniversary David thought that they should pick up another pregnancy test for Jakelen. They picked one up, got home, and forgot all about it. At about 9 pm that night Jakelen remembered the test and took. It was only about 2 seconds before a plus sign appeared on the test screen. There was no doubt about it, she was pregnant! She then went into the bedroom to wake David up and tell him of the great news!
